Mr. Strate taught and coached at South Ogden Jr. High and Bonneville High School. He was elected to the South Ogden City Council for three terms, and now he’s serving his first term on the Utah Board of Education. Plus he was my 8th grade history teacher!

The Local Artisan Collective strives to give local artists a place to grow and collaborate and engage with the community. You can find all kinds of locally created art, clothing, jewelry, crafts, even food there, and teach classes for adults and kids to get hands-on experience with all kinds of artistic mediums. 

Resonomics grew up loving rap and eventually started making songs with his buddy SA on a karaoke machine. He’s come a long way since then, and recently he released Junction City (I Love This Place) an anthem to Ogden with a full-length music video set to be released next year. 

This Saturday, October 28th, from 1 – 8 pm and the Union Station is a free, family-friendly Dia De Los Muertos festival with food, music, dancing, costumes, a car show, ofrendas, and more. This episode will teach you a little more about the culture and traditions of this family focused holiday.
