The lighthouse lounge announced new ownership a few weeks ago, and when the new owners took over on Sunday, they abruptly fired several long-time staff members and canceled all scheduled live shows. So I met up with Ru and Paddy, two well-known Lighthouse fixtures who were both let go this week, to hear their story

Alex McDonald spent his career promoting organ donation in Utah with Donor Connect. Craig Bielik is the Hospital Communications Director for Ogden Regional Medical Center. They’re also long time friends who have collaborated on a number of projects including TV ads and charitable events.
