If you’ve worked at IRS for a while, Jerry Heschel was probably your boss at some point. If you haven’t, then you might have no idea who he is. Not only does he have 40 years of experience, some of it at the highest levels of managment, he’s represented the IRS in countless negotiations with their labor union (NTEU), and he’s led IRS employees through major events like RIFs, restructuring, and large-scale process changes.

The Ogden IRS world is like a community within a community, and a lot of us never get to learn about it. But with drastic changes being proposed for federal employees at breakneck speed, the impact will spread beyond IRS community and into the larger Ogden community as well.
